acharya shri vidyasagar ji maharaj– Aadinath Tv
A saint lives in public, moves around, takes a dip, but does not drown, like a lotus flower.
Acharyashree Vidyasagarji Maharaj, India’s national saint, was an intense ascetic, a thinker, a hard seeker, and a writer.
Vidyasagarji was born in the village of Chikkodi in the Belagavi district of Karnataka on Ashwin Shukla Poornima (Autumn Poornima), Samvat 2003.
Vidyadhar (home name Peelu) was blessed with the opportunity to learn from Acharya Shrestha Gyansagarji Maharaj. He was born in the courtyard of Mr. and Mrs. Mallappaji Ashtage. On Ashadh Sudi Panchami Vikram Samvat 2025, he adopted the religion of abstinence by wearing a Pichhi Kamandal in the historic city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. He was approximately 22 years old at the time.
